angry, frustrated and just plain stunned by Sen. Chris Buttars comments. But in all of this I’ve found that the best I can make of his stupidity is that a 5 foot, 95 pound girl can be that intimidating. This man is so sheltered he can’t possibly have a clue of the “real” world. Surrounding yourself around like minded people your entire life doesn’t make you an expert in morals or Terrorists. I’m embarrassed that he continues to be elected by my fellow Utahns. I mean really, this man has made horrible comments towards the African American community and the GLBTQ community and he continues to sit in a position that determines how many of us live in this community. As I’ve said before and will conitnue to preach, embrace people like him, they make life interesting and make me continue to make myself known. He gives the will to fight for what is just and fair. . maybe I should invite him to dinner ????
Monthly Archives: February 2009
and I don’t even know where to begin!! First off, we left right after I got off work at 7am. We arrived around 10am and stayed awake for over 36 hours. . it was awesome! Like being drunk without drinking. We shopped all day, and to my surprise, we purchased a lovely piece of art by Micael Godard called Angel Hair. It is a tribute to his daughter who died of cancer.
It was pricey, but so worth it!!
We ate at a burger joint, can’t remember the name, and it was the best!! We didn’t grab dinner, as by the time we got back to the room at 8pm I was done and fell asleep.
Thursday woke up early, grabbed some breakfast at a nice cafe.
We left from there and hunted out tattoo shops. Found Pair-of-Dice. . they ROCK!! Made appointments for the next day. Thursday night we went out to Studio 54 and Krave . I was informed at the door of Krave that it was an alternative club, not a GAY club. . remember that when you meet the hugest door man EVER!!!
We finished off the trip with tattoo’s. . and what better ending??
Now we are home and I ready to go back!!!!
is her surprising me with a trip to Vegas! And you may think this occasion would be for a concert, a show. . ahhh no, she knows me well and we are leaving to get some fresh ink placed upon our delicious bodies!! I am so fuckin excited! And what lesbolicious girl wouldn’t be? I mean sin city tattoo’s! She’s perfect for me!!!
We are so a nation of noisy assholes!! And I love it! How else would I know that a mom in Ohio is sick of her boss, that another woman is a campaign chairman for HRC Arizona. Complete strangers, all willing to put it out there for the world to notice. I think it strange, this includes myself, that we have a desire to be recognized. Some do it subtle, while others go out of their way to be strange. What I find hard is to know the truth. Are these people genuine? Do they believe what they write? So, as I venture into the “notice me” world, I will make a promise to stay true to myself and not become razmataz for the masses!
and I suppose that’s why I don’t write all the time. I have assumed that being witty is the only thing to post, cause why the hell else would anyone read this shit?
I was recently moved to graveyard shift, which surprisingly, has been going really well. I tend to HATE graveyard shift, but with the crew I have I can stay awake and be pleasant about it. Rizzi doesn’t look scared when I come home, as she’s done in the past when on nights. I even stay awake to take kids to school at 0900.
Went to dinner last night with a few friends. It reminds me how important it is to take time for friends, they really are a soul food 🙂
Well, that’s pretty much it for witty.
