How damn pathetic can some people be??

Ok, I know this is trivial and I shouldn’t put much thought into it, but god damn!!  So I was on twitter today and I noticed that someone was talking with “Katherine Moennig” (right!!) and they were literally kissing her ass about photos of her DOG!!!  If you know me, I love dogs more that people most days, but come on!!!  I mean, do they think that if they kiss her ass, act like “her” friend that they will be hanging out drinking beer together this weekend???  Christ people, she’s just a person.  Not the character you see on TV, a person who has family and friends and doesn’t need weird ones!!!  I think people are desperate and to tell you the truth, I could care less if you were on TV or in a movie, what matters is what kind of person you were before and after (and hopefully not much has changed.)  And to put it mildly, I think there is no difference between myself and the “stars”, being on TV does not make you a good person.  I wouldn’t want to know half those people anywasy!!!  AHHHHH, people are stupid and shallow!!!

One state at a time. .

the “slipper slope” is starting and I’m getting my sled out so that I can have a hell of a time!!  FINALLY, in my lifetime no less, we are being to become equal citizens of this country that I love and defend!!  I will in no time I’m sure, be able to hold my head up high and no longer feel second rate.  My kids will no longer feel ashamed of the word “lesbian” (not that they are now) but I can feel the winds of change caress my body!!!  Ever seen Braveheart. . yeah, I’m screaming FREEDOM!!!!

Random thoughts on what is wrong with the Universe. .

As we shuffle, scoot, walk and climb our way through the world to be seen, what is missed is that the day we are named is the day have made our place in the universe.  One name, which at times can be overused by our parents when young, is what makes you “you.”  To often we “try to make a name for ourselves” and never realize that our parents did that for us, what is expected is to “live up to your name”, meaning, to remain true to yourself.  I see to often others trying to become something instead of just being something.  This is not to say that it does not take effort to remain true to ourselves, but what happens more often than not is that people go beyond what they are.  This allows for people to lie to themselves and turn their back on their truthes.  What is wrong with the world?  That people have stopped listening to who they are and hate others for it.
